Who We Are

Ambassadors are the face of the Chamber. They are our Goodwill and Welcoming Committee. Ambassadors are a support team for the Chamber’s membership and events departments, and an invaluable asset to our organization and our business members and representatives.

What We Do

Ambassadors commit to representing the Chamber at several different levels of service for the duration of their tenure. These include:

  • Events

Ambassadors show up for events in their iconic blue jackets and mingle with members, helping them to get connected with each other via networking introductions. In some cases, Ambassadors will assist Chamber staff with events as needed.

  • Blue Reviews

The Ambassadors, as a group, make special calls on businesses of interest throughout the year by scheduling what are known as Blue Reviews. The group tours specific businesses with a goal of learning how the Chamber can support the host business, it’s unique services and/or products, and how the Ambassadors can further support them via referrals. Getting a Blue Review is a privilege for the business of choice, and for the Ambassador it is yet another way to become intimately connected with the community.

  • Welcome and Renewal Visits

Ambassadors circulate through the community, visiting new and renewing chamber members as they come on board and making sure that they know about upcoming events and opportunities, confirming their business listing information is correct
for all Chamber publications, and providing chamber member benefits information.

  • Monthly Meetings

Ambassadors are required to attend monthly committee meetings to receive updates on the latest Chamber and Community happenings and to get welcome packets to deliver to members.

Being an Ambassador Benefits Your Business

The Ambassador Committee is a prestigious group of high minded community business members interested in taking their business to the next level. The Ambassadors recognizable blue jackets are very well known throughout the community. Being part of “Team Blue” can get you in the door of well-known businesses and in front of decision makers which, in turn, can help you achieve your business goals.

Ambassadors have access to the most prominent members of the community, and direct access to the Chamber’s team and resources. If you are looking for a way to give back as you grow your business and professional presence, there is no better way than becoming a valued member of Team Blue.
