Ambassador of the Month: Ben Edwards

We sat down with Benjamin Edwards, one of our Chamber Ambassadors, to highlight him as our esteemed Ambassador of the Month for July!

Ben is the Vice President of Capital Campaigns and Donor Development for CareNet of Puget Sound. When asked what he is most proud of during this sit-down, he expressed he is most proud of his Capital Campaigns. He’s been involved in 5 campaigns, the first one was for Tacoma Center, then the Puyallup Center, 2 medical mobile units, and one for a large unit that they just completed this past year. Having raised $440,000 in 3 months. That’s incredible!

We also wanted to highlight Ben’s passion as a person. Sitting down with him, he is a passionate artist, and paints on the side after his long days of work. He specializes in environmental realism, capturing beautiful landscapes.

Painting since he was a child, Ben stuck with art throughout his whole life. He is now going to be a part of an art walk in Renton, as well as a show in Ruston with fellow artists. Check out his work and learn more about his art journey on his website here: benjaminedwardsart.com

Asked what inspired him to be an ambassador, Ben states that out of all of the Chambers he’s been involved with, the Puyallup/Sumner Chamber was "the most active, friendly, and outgoing”. Seeing how connected this community was inspired him to get involved.
