The New Public Safety Building Grand Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

We attended the grand ribbon cutting celebration for the brand new Puyallup Police Department Public Safety Building, held on Wednesday, April 9, 2026.

The previous building that housed the Puyallup PD was built in the late 1960’s, and since then, our population and the police force has grown some. This new safety building provides a lot of space for visitors, our police, and more.

At the ceremony, we honored 3 fallen officers, and 1 fallen K-9 troop. Learning the stories of the brave souls who fell in the line of duty really moved our hearts, and they will not be forgotten.

Congratulations Puyallup PD on this brand new location. It’s convenient, beautiful, and most of all: safe. Thank you for making us feel welcome there, and we are grateful for you.

Stop by if you haven’t!
