Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at McDonald's on Shaw Rd
/March 25, 2026 marked the grand opening of the new Bowers Enterprises McDonald’s on Shaw Road in Puyallup.
The owner of this location, Mike Bowers, shared his journey from working as a teenage cashier at McDonald’s to becoming a business owner, and expressed appreciation for the support he has received since moving to Washington three years ago.
The event also featured “McTeachers Night,” with 20% of all sales donated directly to the teachers of Shaw Road Elementary School. Even Grimace and Birdie the Earlie Bird made appearances!
This location has partnered with St. Francis House to help feed hungry members of our community, while simultaneously making sure their employees are well taken care of.
