Ambassador of the Month: Tracy Kelly

For the month of June, we are excited to highlight Tracy Kelly, Marketing and Sales Director for Cornerstone CPA Services.

If you’ve been to any Puyallup/Sumner Chamber of Commerce event in the past year, you’ve probably seen or even met Tracy. She is a dedicated volunteer, always showing up bright and early to help set up with our events, to help ensure they run smoothly!

Cornerstone CPA Services is a full service accounting firm, offering bookkeeping, accounting, fractional CFO/COO support, and tax services. Tracy loves the relationship building side of her work, she shares: “I love that my job is all about meeting with businesses. Helping them understand financially where they’re at and how we can help them expand and grow is the fun part.”

Tracy describes herself as an “avid gardener” and she sees a similar dynamic in the Chamber community. “Everything in gardening has to work in conjunction. The right soil, the right foundation.” she said “…I look at that symbiotic relationship with the Chamber. If I’m not the connection, I know somebody who is.”

Tracy’s inspiration to become an Ambassador came from wanting to create a better experience for new members. “Being an ambassador is the opportunity to make sure new businesses understand what’s available to them” she said. She loves helping members navigate Chamber tools, make connections, and feel supported.

When asked who inspires her, Tracy immediately named her longtime childhood friend and business partner at Cornerstone CPA, Miriam. Watching Miriam lead a nonprofit while simultaneously earning her masters degree left a lasting impact. “I love that we are a CPA firm that takes on nonprofits,” Tracy said. “(Nonprofit) missions make our community better, and she influenced me that way.”

We are garteful for Tracy’s energy, her passion for helping businesses grow, and the heart she brings to our Chamber community. Seeing her smile can brighten anybodies day.
